This October, CoreNet will be holding its 2015 Global Summit in Los Angeles, California. The summit is designed to discuss how large company business impacts the corporate real estate market. Regardless of current position or experience, CoreNet believes it is important for corporate real estate agents to be knowledgable and proactive regarding the shifting industry landscape and how big business can influence change.
The overarching theme of the conference is “Disruptive Innovation: The Business of Change” with a keynote presentation by Academy Award-winning producer, Brian Grazer. Mr. Grazer, in conjunction with Ron Howard, is responsible for high grossing productions such as “Splash”, “A Beautiful Mind”, and “Apollo 13.” Together they have grossed over $13 billion. The summit is also expected to have an educational component and additional keynote addresses from leadership experts Luke Williams and Vihn Giang.
Supplementary to keynote presentations, the summit will offer an array of leadership sessions between the two days, focusing on various aspects such as: Building Political Influence, Creating a Winning Atmosphere at Work, The Roadmap to Success, and The Accountable Leader. These sessions are aimed at corporate real estate agents, encouraging them to become better at assessing the industry landscape and stand out as industry thought leaders. Moreover, attendees have the added bonus of earning credit towards the Leading Others certificate available through CoreNet. The Leading Others certificate is a part of CoreNet’s Leadership Development Program focused on “leadership and soft-skill development” in the corporate real estate community.
A number of high profile companies are expected to be in attendance including Adobe Systems Inc., Allstate Insurance Co., Deloitte, ExxonMobil, Tyco, and Yahoo! Inc. just to name a few. Those who register between June 27 and September 25 can apply for three price tiers:
- End User: $1,445
- Service Provider: $1,995
- Economic Developer: $1,795
After September 25th, late prices go in affect.
The summit is scheduled to run between October 18 and 20, 2015.
